Senior Appointments

Fletcher King, the AIM-listed property investment and advisory group, announces that it has made two senior appointments to help drive growth. Chris Roberts joins the Company as Director in the Valuation team and Sharon Lowe joins as Head of Client Accounts.

Chris Roberts has over 11 years’ of experience operating in the London and South East property market valuing commercial and residential properties. Chris spent six and a half years in JLL’s Valuation and Advisory team advising a variety of banking clients, property companies, private equity firms and high net worth individuals. As well as working with numerous UK and global banking clients whilst at JLL, including HSBC, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse, Chris also worked for a variety of institutional and private property investment and development clients including Legal & General, London & Cambridge Properties, Evolves Estates and Barwood Capital. Chris will bring his deep knowledge of valuation to Fletcher King to help service existing banking and private clients of the firm such as Bilsdale Properties, Apperly Estates and The Portal Trust.
The UK’s commercial real estate market has been far more resilient in the face of the pandemic than was first feared in March/April 2020 after the introduction of Lockdown 1.0. All Property capital values fell just 6.6% between February and October 2020, which marked the bottom of the pandemic cycle. Since, October All Property capital values have recovered 4.2% although values still remain 2.7% below pre‐pandemic levels.

Sharon Lowe has 25 years’ experience within Commercial Property Management working for numerous institutional and private property investors across all asset classes. She has previously worked at MAPP Property Management, Cushman & Wakefield and Sellar Development Services, with clients such as CBRE Investors, Brookfield, Hermes, Barings, AEW and Brydell on large portfolios including IBM Pension Fund and Royal Mail Pension Fund.

At Sellar she was integral to the setup of the management operation for The Shard, working closely with the on-site management team to create an exceptional investor and occupier experience from scratch. Sharon has considerable experience in onboarding complex portfolios, mobilisation of new developments, developing best practice and tailored client reporting.
