POSITION AVAILABLE – CLIENT ACCOUNTANT 

CASHIER / CLIENT ACCOUNTANT – Temp to Perm  

 

Initial 3M contract with the potential to move to a permanent position. 

Reporting to the Head of Client Accounts 

To provide the cashiering functions and client accounting support within a Client Accounting team of four persons. 

The team is made up of Head of Client Accounts, two Senior Client Accountants and one Service Charge Accountant/ PL Manager. The role would suit someone with solid experience within a commercial property management accounts environment role looking to work collaboratively with others to support the team service delivery and expand their skill set. 

The business is migrating from Qube to Yardi at the end of January therefore the role would suit someone who is comfortable with change and can easily adapt as the need dictates. 

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Daily banking 
  • Monitor and report daily cash balances  
  • Monthly bank reconciliations for client discrete accounts  
  • Post quarterly bank interest 
  • Quarterly bank reconciliations for rent deposit accounts 
  • Processing IATs on NatWest Bankline 
  • Processing client payments on NatWest Bankline  
  • Manage rent deposits & drawdowns 
  • Support Client Accountants with preparation of client reporting and supporting documentation as required 
  • Upload service charge budgets to Qube / Yardi 
  • Assist Service Charge Accountant with variance reporting and year end reconciliations 
  • Raise tenant recharge invoices 
  • Process supplier invoices as requested 
  • Raise rent, service charge, insurance, and other tenant ad hoc demands 
  • Distribute supporting documents to tenants 
  • Qube / Yardi database maintenance, as required 
  • Assist the team in developing best practice client accounting procedures

Skills / Experience 

  1. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Property Management Accounting role 
  2. Good working knowledge of QUBE & Yardi essential 
  3. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel essential 
  4. Strong interpersonal skills working with both internal & external customers 
  5. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal  
  6. Able to demonstrate the ability to effectively work within a team environment
